• • Restore of network and security settings and retention of security policies without having to reconfigure the IP on virtual machines after the recover; in fact, thanks to the technology developed by Vertigo Consulting for this service, a virtual appliance will be installed at the Client's premises which will bridge the Client's infrastructure and the site in Disaster Recovery, thus making it possible to switch on the servers in DR without modifying their IP address.

• Guaranteed RPO and RTO. RPO (Recovery Point Objective) is the metric that indicates the time elapsed from the last replication until the occurrence of a hypothetical disaster. Obviously it is linked to the replication frequency of the systems, the more frequent it is, the less the maximum data loss will be. Two fundamental values come into play in this factor: bandwidth and volume of data to be replicated. The concept of Recovery Time Objective (RTO) refers to the time between disaster and complete recovery of systems.
