The Disaster Recovery service provided by Vertigo is based on the Site Recovery manager technology integrated into the virtualization platform VMware.
The implemented solution allows the company to extend its network up to the Vertigo Datacenter infrastructure so that the replicated virtual servers are, if necessary, immediately bootable and reachable from the company network without having to change any configuration on the servers.

It happened that the company was under cyber attack:
• All of the company's servers were irreparably compromised by a ransomware attack

Thanks to Vertigo, a series of emergency procedures, typical of these cases, were activated, including the activation of Disaster Recovery procedures which allowed the company to return to operations in a short time by taking advantage of the servers replicated in the Datacenter.

The Disaster Recovery service combined with the excellent skills of Vertigo, in that specific situation but also in daily operations, have contributed to increasing the reliability of the company which confirms itself at high levels in terms of data security with particular attention to guarantee business continuity for the benefit of its customers.
